Sweet & Sour Cucumber with Fresh Dill

This recipe comes from the book Best Ever 30-Minute Cookbook. It is a pretty nice cookbook with more than 600 recipes! It is written by Jenni Fleetwood! It is a super simple summer side salad.

Ingredients! Pretty simple! (Shout out to my Grandma! Her husband grew the cucumbers in his garden! It was beautiful in color, fantastic in flavor and smell! Thanks!!)

Slice the cucumber and onion very thin!Season with the salt and toss. Leave it to cool for about 5 minutes.

Measure out your vinegar, water and sugar.

Mix in the vinegar, sugar, water and dill! Oh, I love the smell of dill....

After tossing it all together, it's good to go! :) Super simple summer salad!

-1 large (or 2 small) cucumbers, thinly sliced
-3 onions, thinly sliced (I used two very large onions)
-3 tablespoons of sugar
-5 tablespoons of white wine vinegar or cider vinegar (I used the latter)
-3 tablespoons of water
-3 tablespoon of chopped fresh dill
-salt (to taste. I used a pinch or two)
