Curried Yogurt-Crusted Pork Chops

This recipe was taken from Jame McNair's Grill Cookbook! It was published in 1990. This recipe does take a bit of time due to marinating, but it is well worth it!

Greek Salad with Lemon Dill Dressing

This recipe was taken from the Great Beginnings & Happy Endings cookbook by Renny Darling. It was published in 1981. It was fairly simple, when it could have been more detailed, but came out tasting delicious!

This recipe sounds like it may be difficult, but it was fairly easy! It comes from the cookbook Great Beginnings & Happy Endings- Hors d'oeuvres and Desserts for Standing Ovations by Renny Darling. The book was published in 1981!

Moved in and cooking!

Hello friends!

We have moved into our new apartment and have organized the kitchen enough to start cooking! Tonight I am preparing three things that will be posted tomorrow evening!

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend :)

Hello and Welcome!

Hello!

Welcome to my blog! I am very interested in cooking and have purchased a number of old cookbooks. My plan is to choose a random recipe, make it and upload my journey here for all to see! I plan to take pictures along the way to show the techniques I am learning.

I am new to blogging, but I am sure I will figure it out! The page is very plain right now but I will fancy it up as I learn my way around! I plan to post my first recipe this upcoming weekend!

Love,
Jess
